WP6 - IT acchitecture

WP6: IT architecture (WISa, P3a)

During the project first period and during its meetings, a basis for the design of a "MATCHIT automaton" (MA) has been established. First generation software and user interface is anticipated to be delivered during the beginning of 2011, and will be based on deterministic chemistry and physics with binary interaction matrix. This software will be available to the entire consortium and will allow exploring user-adjustable MA scenarios. The next generation of the MA will include more realistic behaviors, such as graded DNA tag interactions using WISb acquired experimental data, and include probabilistic attributes.  This effort relates to task 6.1 "DNA compiler, container readdressing and MATCHIT language".

Additional future deliverables will include V-GARD, a model that will help analyze how the kinetics of vesicle fusion are affected by DNA tags and assist in choosing an optimal DNA labeling scheme, in collaboration with WISb. This effort relates to task 6.2 "Artificial chemistry simulations of chemtainers".
