Last week Professor Steen Rasmussen from FLinT participated in a Danish conference”When Science Meets the Headlines”. The Danish newspaper Information covered the conference with a feature that can be read here (in Danish only)
Scientists are missing respect of their topic from both the politicians and the press and they feel like they have been reduced to “Entertainment Experts”. Meanwhile the public looses the interest in Science. But does the scientist themselves lack the dedication to disseminate was one question at the conference “When Science Meets the Headlines”.
